Tonight Nintendo Japan confirmed it will release a new game console in calendar year 2012. It will be announced and playable at E3 this coming June.

Apart from graphical expectations, the most rampant rumor out there is the screen-based controller . In short, rumors say the new controller will feature a six-inch touch screen capable of video playback, in addition to analog sticks, face, and shoulder buttons.
